Handling live animals is difficult and sensitive work. Knowing exactly where it is, and combining vision with force detection can allow us to work with living poultry. Our models detect the individual parts of the animal at belt speed, which is critical for an industry application. Implementing more automation can reduce animal and strain and improve work circumstances.

Large, irregular items that no single physical property will separate.
Reducing waste starts with sorting it efficiently, so the recoverable fraction can be taken out mechanically once it has been detected. AI vision suits a wide range of items, and differences that are only visual: a small clump of metal in an ash stream, or a couch on a bulk waste belt. Trained for the job, a model catches most of what a person would.
